God's Unfailing Love

I selected the words watercolor and flowers from The Challenge and chose shades of pink, lilac, and green from Sunday Stamps when creating this card.  The photo does not do justice to the fun embossed scallops created with some new dies from Papertrey Ink. They are called Double Ups and allow for cutting of rectangles with the option of embossing scallops on either side of the cut line.  The sweet Psalm is from Verve's Good Work set, and the card is finished with a few stitched flowers from MFT and a scattering of dewdrops.

Hoping you will know God's unfailing love,
Christine

Christine- I LOVE this! Any chance you still have this Verve stamp set? I'd love to buy it from you, if possible. I just discovered them today, only to find they are out of business. Maybe you'd consider selling it to me? Or other Verve Biblical verses sets? Sincerely, Jan

Hi Buttons and Baubles,

Since you are a "no-reply" blogger, I cannot directly respond to your message. I hope you will see my response here. Verve was the first and only stamp collection that I purchased when I began stamping a few years ago. I planned to be happy with 'just Verve' and have always enjoyed Julee's images and sentiments. I was both thrilled and terribly sad when Julee made the decision to close her shop and devote more of her time to her darling twin boys. I don't think I could part with any of my Verve sets, but since the shop is closed, we wouldn't be harming anyone by sharing images. I would be glad to stamp some sentiments or flowers and mail them to you, since this would not be taking away from Julee's income.

Another bit of good news, Julee Tillman, Verve owner and illustrator is now designing for Sweet and Sassy Stamps. She sometimes does lettering for the company, and you will recognize her style. Sweet and Sassy has great scripture sets! Hope this helps, Christine

Oh Christine, you are so generous to offer to share the stamps. I appreciate the thought, but don't think that will satisfy me... :-) I think I'm as crazy about them as you must be. I'll check out Sweet & Sassy and see if I can find some there. I'm sorry I don't know specifically how to leave comments the right way, (obviously) but I DID get your response in my work email account, and I'm most grateful to hear from you. Blessings to you and again, thank you for your reply, most sincerely. Jan
