Trust In the Lord with all your Heart

This stamp is from Our Daily Bread (now Divinity Designs).  Not only do I adore the verse, I love to make bookmarks with it.  After seeing a paper towel----yes a folded paper towel---- marking a place in my husband's Bible, I decided he needed a bookmark in his Easter goodies.  I stamped on Bristol paper and colored the shapes with Tombow brush markers and a water brush.  Ran them through a Scotch laminator for a little durability and added a piece of ribbon that has a sentimental meaning.

Thanks for taking a look,

Christine

Somebunny Loves You

This cute stamp and die set is from Taylored Expressions.  I recently purchased it in a local craft store, but I thing it's retired.  IMO, that makes a great score.  The little tags are for my (grown) kids' Easter gifts.  I love that the dies included a fluffy tail which I cut from felt.

Thanks for taking a look,

Christine

Floral Easter Eggs

Wow!  This Sizzix die has lots of little pieces.  I found it helpful to create two cards at once and to add the teeny tiny centers to the flowers using a watercolor marker instead of using the minuscule paper cuts.  It truly ended up being a relaxing process to die cut and glue until all the spots were filled.

Blessings,

Christine

Deepest Sympathy

This card is for a sweet friend whose dear mom has entered Heaven.  She lived life well with Jesus and went to him peacefully....what a great gift to her family.  I wanted a card with a soft, delicate feeling and included the stamped scripture Isaiah 61:3:  to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise  instead of a spirit of despair.

Unfailing Love for Word Art Wednesday

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love for I have put my trust in you.  I learned the verse this way and often recite it when falling asleep.  Our God is so very kind to love us the way He does, showing us His ways and being absolutely trustworthy.

Please visit the Word Art Wednesday blog to get a copy of this scripture.  Karen will have a related devotional and there is always a prize available for a randomly selected participant.

Blessings,

Christine
