Delivered from all my Fears

It has been such a blessing to share Sweet 'N Sassy projects this month! I have one final card which includes a dear verse from "In the Psalms" accent with a sweet little floral. My stamp was illustrated by Julee Tilman and is part of my treasured Verve collection. The great news is that Julee has included this adorable bloom "Forever Loved" in her line for Sweet 'N Sassy!

Calms His Child

Praying that just reading this sweet sentiment will bless someone. It reminds me of Psalm 31:7: I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul.

The large, beautifully lettered sentiment from 'Calms His Child' is the focus of my card, and some watercolored blooms from 'My Savior's Love are scattered and tucked into the corners.

I am so enjoying the SNSS products I chose to share this month!

Blessings,
Christine

Romans 12:12 for Word Art Wednesday

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Do I ever have a testimony about this verse! When my husband was diagnosed with cancer ten months ago, the Lord placed this scripture on my heart, assuring me that I could hope and trust in Him with complete joy.  God told me I could walk out the cancer journey with the hope that regardless of the outcome, He would sustain us.  Daily we faced affliction that called for patience and prayer.  The journey is not yet over, but there are good reports.  The treatment is working and will continue in a 'maintenance mode' for couple more years.  God has shown Himself strong on our behalf, and through the cancer experience, He is answering prayers that have been expressed for years.  Our faith has grown, and He has given us opportunities to minister to others.  God has been my strength, and the imperatives of this verse have kept me focused on obedience to Him.

All are welcome to visit Word Art Wednesday to obtain this sweet scripture in digital form.  Karen will have a devotion to share and there is a prize for one of the participants!

My card includes images from the Stamp Simply set called God will Take Care of You.

Thanks, Diane, for the heads-up that my DT card fits right in with your current challenge.  What a happy coincidence that the publication times are simultaneous!

Happy Birthday with Floral Bouquet Dies

Still working to catch up with my enthusiastic offer of birthday cards when there were so few in my stash!  The layers in white are created using Papertrey Ink dies, and the sweet floral dies are from MFT.  the card looks like it took more time than it really die!

Cherry Blossoms

So the bad news is that when I volunteered to supply handmade cards for a particular event, my enthusiasm was bigger than my stash. The good news is that I get to make more cards  This one features Papertrey Ink's Cherry Blossoms and Tiny Tags.  The layers are from a stack of Mintay papers I was thrilled to snag.  The frame layer is a little bigger than a standard card base, so this card is 6.25 inches tall.

I Love You

Using these cute Spellbinders dies to create a Valentine for my husband.  The truck is shiny and red, just like the new one in our garage.  He is getting his favorite home-cooked meal along with a hand-made card.

Thanks for looking,

Christine

How Marvelous is My Savior's Love

"My Savior's Love" is a touching, beautiful, and versatile Sweet 'N Sassy set. I have so enjoyed creating cards with the beautiful blooms and am finding the sentiments to have wonderful combinations for celebrating the love of Jesus.

This card began with the images and sentiments heat-embossed in black. Ink blending was done with Distress Oxides in Dried Marigold, Worn Lipstick, and Picked Raspberry.

A great tip when ink blending after heat embossing is to apply the tiniest amount of stamp cleaner to a paper towel and to "polish" the embossing very lightly. This removes any ink residue and lets the EP shine!

Blessings,

Christine

Valentine Mailbox

True story: I made this card for one of my husband's friends to give to his wife after he remarked that he usually takes her to the store to read a card and return it to the rack. 😂😮😂😮

I purchased the cute Spellbinders mailbox die on sale after Christmas.  The sample on the package was all done up in reds and greens and stamped with a Santa greeting.  I couldn't find the associated stamp set, but that's okay because I envisioned it full of Valentine flowers.  The heart doily is a SSS favorite, and I found a perfect sentiment in a Papertrey set.

Take Courage for Sweet N Sassy Stamps

"In the Psalms" was a must-have stamp set for me. It's a beautifully lettered collection of such dear verses, and the size of the scriptures is perfect for a focal point on a card or a bookmark. For this card, the sentiment is stamped on a bookmark die topped with a junk bow and adorned with a watercolored flower from "My Savior's Love".

Rejoice and Be Glad for Sweet n Sassy Stamps

What a blessing to be sharing cards this month as a guest designer for Sweet n Sassy Stamps!  I love the sweet new set called "In the Psalms" which includes some dear praises and statements of hope!  "My Savior's Love" is such a joy to work with. The blooms are gorgeous, and the sentiments offer the opportunity for many combinations to express and celebrate the love of Jesus.

Blessings,

Christine

John 13:34 for Word Art Wednesday

It is wonderful and humbling to think of how Jesus loves us.  Romans 5:8 explains that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.   That brings into focus the way we should love others, too.

This beautifully lettered scripture is available for download and use at Word Art Wednesday, and Karen always shares a devotion to focus our hearts on God's Word.  Please stop by and share your art.

My card includes:  Large scallop stacker die from Papertrey Ink; pink DP from my stash, and an Altenew image, Whimsical Flower Arrangement, watercolored with Tombow dual brush pens.

Thanks for visiting,

Christine
