Sunday Stamps Sketch

I love sketch challenges!  This time I paired the Sunday Stamps sketch with a friend's request for thank you notes using this cute set from Honeybee Stamps.

Mani Thanks

After the excitement of finding the Double D challenge a few weeks ago and having a random win, I anticipated playing along regularly.  The current challenge is "Begins with the Letter M".  Going through my stash, I couldn't find any monkeys, magicians, or even magnolias.  A friend requested some cards using this set from Honey Bee stamps which includes the sentiment Mani Thanks.  Hope  the implied manicure  not so much of a stretch that I get ejected from the challenge!

Hydrangea in Blue

I enjoyed test driving a set of Aqua Blend pencils by Spectrum Noir.....wish I had a bigger box.  They were a delight to use!  This became a "rescue card" after I forgot to use the magnet in my Misti and ended up with the sentiment sitting at a crazy angle.  I stamped the sentiment again and cut it out with a little oval and  mounted it on some foam tape to cover the little inky mistake.

Thanks for visiting,
Christine

Heartfelt Gratitude

I love the scattering of flowers in the current Atlantic Hearts sketch.  How is it that sometimes even a sketch can be gorgeous!?  I used the sketch earlier this week along with some coffee themed papers and ephemera.  The flowers called out, and I knew that I wouldn't be happy until I tried the sketch again with florals.

Thanks so much for visiting,

Sunny Birthday

I have so enjoyed creating along with Ink to Paper for the Project Reach Out challenge.  We have had LOTS of birthdays during our stay-at-home time, so birthday cards have been so important!  I have been working to replenish my birthday card supply, and it certainly was fun to combine PTI/Ink to Paper products for this card! Summer Sunrise and Aqua Mist were used to stamp Love in Bloom, July Corner Adorners, and Loosely Woven.  I don't think I will ever tire of using the A2 Noted dies for card bases and layers.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Christine

Find Refuge

Praying this card brings comfort.  The sweet scripture is from Papertrey Ink's Year of Psalms series, and it pairs well with the Brushed Birds.

Coffee---Color Me Happy

I love this tiny Spellbinders coffee cup!  It has great details, and I've wanted to try making a coffee rainbow using scraps of paper.  It took a while to dig through my scraps to find shades I thought would work, but it was such fun to choose tiny patterns and parts of panels to cut. The color me happy sentiment is from Sunny Studios.  It occurred to me only after struggling to get the line of cups straight that score lines would have made cute---and functional---accents.  Next time!!

Thanks for taking a look,
Christine
