It's time to welcome a baby--- a sweet girl will soon arrive, and her daddy is one of my former students, all grown up, married, and graduated from medical school.  What a happy occasion!

It was so much fun to use the Sunday Stamps Sketch along with Verve's Hip Hop Bunnies, Reverse Confetti Scallops 'n Circles, and RC Tall Tags Trio to complete this card.  The soft girly papers are from a collection called Love and Flowers--perfect to welcome a little princess.

Sharing a thank you card for a teacher appreciation gift.  I am working to develop CAS card-making skills and find that Freshly Made Sketches are a big help!

Dies used on this project include the Tilth Floral by Memory Box, a banner from MFT Blueprints 12, and Little Inker Stitched Rectangles.  The tiny sentiment is from a Heidi Swapp set I was thrilled to find at Tuesday Morning.

Mojo Monday: Fabulous

I envisioned using these pretty red papers with glittery silver mats, but the silver was too much.  Switched to black and wondered if red polka dots and black scallops said, "Minnie Mouse".

At any rate, I love the sentiment from the Verve collection called Love's Flower.  The scalloped squares are MFT dies.

It's the Little Things....Coffee

What a fun sketch!  I went a little crazy with scraps from a favorite Heidi Swapp paper pad  and substituted aqua zebra stripes for the more conventional ones suggested in the sketch.  Then all those other little scraps seemed to pair up with some Verve dies to add some more details to the clean sketch.

The sentiment in the top corner is TLC digital stamp offered as a free download here.  The coffee cup is from Verve's Coffee set and the Verve dies used are Heart Quartet, Partly Cloudy, and the Coffee word die.

Mojo Monday/Inspired by all the Little Things---Many Blessings

The sweet blue and yellow color scheme from the Inspired By photo was still on my mind when searching for papers to layer with this Monday's Mojo Sketch.  The papers are part of the "Park Bench" collection by Fancy Pants, and I love using them.  So glad I took the extra time to mat the layers in the sketch, because it really dressed up the card.  Here are the other "ingredients".

The sentiment comes from Verve's Autumn Blessings, and the dies include MFT Stitched Scalloped Squares, MFT Stitched Flowers, and Reverse Confetti's Tall Tags Trio.  None of these dies stay in the storage bin for long.
