This is one of my favorite sets for creating cards for students in a parenting class I am blessed to teach.

It has been such a blessing to share Sweet 'N Sassy projects this month! I have one final card which includes a dear verse from "In the Psalms" accent with a sweet little floral. My stamp was illustrated by Julee Tilman and is part of my treasured Verve collection. The great news is that Julee has included this adorable bloom "Forever Loved" in her line for Sweet 'N Sassy!
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Do I ever have a testimony about this verse! When my husband was diagnosed with cancer ten months ago, the Lord placed this scripture on my heart, assuring me that I could hope and trust in Him with complete joy. God told me I could walk out the cancer journey with the hope that regardless of the outcome, He would sustain us. Daily we faced affliction that called for patience and prayer. The journey is not yet over, but there are good reports. The treatment is working and will continue in a 'maintenance mode' for couple more years. God has shown Himself strong on our behalf, and through the cancer experience, He is answering prayers that have been expressed for years. Our faith has grown, and He has given us opportunities to minister to others. God has been my strength, and the imperatives of this verse have kept me focused on obedience to Him.
All are welcome to visit Word Art Wednesday to obtain this sweet scripture in digital form. Karen will have a devotion to share and there is a prize for one of the participants!
My card includes images from the Stamp Simply set called God will Take Care of You.
Thanks, Diane, for the heads-up that my DT card fits right in with your current challenge. What a happy coincidence that the publication times are simultaneous!

So the bad news is that when I volunteered to supply handmade cards for a particular event, my enthusiasm was bigger than my stash. The good news is that I get to make more cards This one features Papertrey Ink's Cherry Blossoms and Tiny Tags. The layers are from a stack of Mintay papers I was thrilled to snag. The frame layer is a little bigger than a standard card base, so this card is 6.25 inches tall.

I purchased the cute Spellbinders mailbox die on sale after Christmas. The sample on the package was all done up in reds and greens and stamped with a Santa greeting. I couldn't find the associated stamp set, but that's okay because I envisioned it full of Valentine flowers. The heart doily is a SSS favorite, and I found a perfect sentiment in a Papertrey set.
