My Whole Heart

There's another fun challenge on the Mod Squad blog---to use vellum flowers.  This is my first attempt at that technique, and I like the result.  After heat embossing an image from Stampin' Up's Flower Shop, I inked the back with PTI's Hawaiian Shores dye ink.  The images stayed ink-side-up on my craft mat while I worked on some chores.  It seems the most common way to ink vellum is with alcohol inks or markers, but standard dye inks work if  given plenty of time to dry.  I was happy to learn that!

Thanks so much for visiting,

Christine

This is just stunning. I love all the different pieces of white with texture and die cutting. The layering is wonderful here. And then those beautiful blue flowers, so delicate and ethereal. Gorgeous card!! Great take on the challenge, thanks so much for playing along with us over at The Mod Squad!
