AHSC 248: A one-layer card

For Christmas, I was given a tech gadget that didn't play nicely with the existing gadget it was supposed to enhance.  The giver kindly returned it and offered to take me on a shopping spree to a newly discovered stamp store.  We hit a half-off sale and I got several sets of stamps, two dies, and two 6 x 6 pads of paper.  I honestly believe this is the most "new stamping stuff" I've had at once, and it's so much fun to play with my new goodies.

I really wanted to use this set by Dare 2 Be Artzy, and made a rare (for me) one layer card by using the coffee beans as a frame and coloring in that happy little mug with pencils.

Thanks so much for looking,
Christine

Love your one-layer card, Christine! And, I love coffee and haven't had mine today. Time to get a pot brewing.

Your card is so fun, the coffee bean frame is super sweet. The sentiment - heartwarming. Hope you get lots of time to play with your other buys!
