Cards for Guys

 Since I started making cards, I have given Mom a year's supply of birthday, Easter, and Valentine's Day cards.  I find it hard to create cards for guys,  primarily because I love soft colors, florals, and doily-like die cuts.  To make cards for the guys on the list, I ordered a set from Creative Worship Stanps called Birthday Guy, and to give it a trial run, I made a card with each of the four stamps.

Rejoice Evermore!

I don't know about you, but it's the succinct, clear commands of God that are easily comprehended but often hard to follow.  Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, and do everything without complaining.  There is much to rejoice about when we ask God to focus our hearts on Him.  He is always good, and I have come to realize that if the ONLY thing He had ever done for me was to give the gift of salvation, that is more than enough to keep me rejoicing for the eternity He has given me to praise Him.  

Along with this week's Word Art Wednesday scripture, my card includes scraps from an American Crafts 6x6 card stock pad and some retired dies from My Favorite Things and Verve.
