Goodness of the Lord for WAW

 I had so much fun making this card!  It features the (new to my collection) Embroidered Flowers by Pink Fresh Studio.  I cut one set from white cardstock and inked with Distress Oxides chosen to coordinate with the plaid background paper (holiday travel find from Michael's).

Light in the Darkness for Word Art Wednesday

 By the time this posts, the color challenge that inspired the palette will be over, but I had so much fun with my first card in pink, lavender, and aqua that I used the colors again for the Word Art Wednesday DT project.  The awesome square tag is from PaperTrey Ink, and the lilies are from My Favorite Things---they literally are among my most favorites.  Of course, the scripture is available to share on the Word Art Wednesday blog where you will also find a related devotion, a great prize for a lucky participant, and lots of inspiration.  Hope you can join us!

Comfort in Affliction

 Truly God's word does comfort in affliction. I've spent a lot of times in the Psalms lately, only to find that David, especially, was honest with God about all of his feelings.  After pouring out his heart, he was able to praise God, bringing renewed courage and life to his soul.
