Christmas Gift Tags

 Here's a start on this year's Christmas tags.  Recently, I found that my scrap collection contained LOTS of left-over white cardstock in various sizes.  Using these pieces, I stamped and cut various elements and have been working on assembling them for a while.  It's always fun to add a coordinating tag to a project, right?

Just completed a set of these cards for students in a parenting class that I so enjoy teaching.  MFT products include Stitched Squares, Stitched Circles, Stitched Flowers, and a retired stamp set that I still love:  Pressed Flowers.

MFT Sketch Challenge

Happy Birthday Sketch and Color Combo

 It's always fun when a sketch challenge and a color challenge go well together.  I love the combination of hues suggested in the current MFT color challenge, and the sketch is very versatile making a place for My Favorite Things----flower dies.  This set is called Flower Bouquet and is from MFT.  I love the details that are cut into each flower and leaf shape and the wonderful way the different sizes of each bloom can stack or be used alone.

 I made six of these using Momenta dies accented accenting the wreath with a sentiment cut from shiny gold card stock.

This sweet cardinal couple is from a Stampendous set called Bunnies and Birds.  I love watercoloring this image for Christmas cards.  The first dozen for this year are complete.  I shared this via IG in the MFT Christmas Challenge.

MFT's Viking  is so cute! It arrived in the mail a few days ago, and this is the second card featuring the adorable little Norseman.  Entering in the MFT Sketch challenge.

 

Temple of God for Word Art Wednesday

My card includes a relatively new die set from Papertrey Ink called Into the Blooms Begonias.  They are gorgeous in pinks and reds, but I wanted to see how they'd look in purple.  I like them in lavender!
