Look, Mom, no stamps!
I combined the SSS Wednesday Challenge (no stamps allowed) with the MFT sketch challenge. My card features MFT's wonderful die set called Birds of a Feather over a panel inked with a cloud die and TH Salty Ocean ink.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope the coming weeks holds much joy and at least a little stamping time.

Sunday Stamps: Amazing Birthday
I am looking forward to spring, and that is what the Sunday Stamps inspiration photo brought to this card. SSS Spring Flowers were embossed in white and watercolored with Arteza Real Brush Markers. The pretty scallops were cut with PTI's Edger die, and (my favorite ever) birthday sentiment is a retired Verve stamp.
Thanks for visiting and have an amazing day!

AHSC 304
Happy Wednesday! Today is the day the the AHSC design team members share their interpretations of Michelle's sketches. The Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is set up in such a fun way: a new sketch is posted each Monday, and design team inspiration is show on Wednesday. That way, participants can choose to play either before or after being influenced by the DT's interpretations of the sketch. Such fun! Hope you will visit the AHSC Blog and play along!
This sketch inspired me to use some favorite stamps in new ways, and I will be doing this type of arrangement again! The cover die is PTI's so elegant Scroll Frame Die, and the cheerful blooms are Reverse Confetti's Build a Bunch....cut from watercolored paper. To make the frame stand out, the edges were inked using a brush and soft blue ink, and the card is finished with a retired Verve sentiment.

Christine

SSS Challenge: Birthday Wishes
To meet the SSS Wednesday Challenge of using black, white, and one other color, I chose to work with MFT's Pressed Flowers. It is a simple, but striking, layering set, but I love to use the dies to cut the flowers from watercolored panels and just add the centers. The set includes some pretty foliage, stamped in black and white for the challenge. Everything is layered over a SSS Heart die, and the tiny, delicate sentiment is a retired Verve stamp.
Thanks for taking a look,
Christine

Mojo Monday: Kindness is a Beautiful Thing
The Mojo Monday sketch was lots of fun to bring to life with a bit of paper featuring a pattern on only one edge and Farmer's Market Florals from PTI. The washi tape strips are a pretty metallic gold that did not photograph well in the evening light...much nicer in real life!

Inky Paws Inspiration
What could be more adorable than the combination of pinks, reds, hearts, and polkadots in the Inky Paws inspiration photo? I had fun coloring Newton and choosing pink and red patterned paper for this card. I am anxiously awaiting a sending hugs die to add to this card.

Tickled Pink
Combining the MFT Color Challenge and the Sketch Challenge into one card using the sentiment as the horizontal element. It was harder that anticipated to work the purple into the design using MFT's Tickled Pink stamp set and Flamingo Dies. The scattered blooms were cut from Stitched Flowers and topped with lavender sequins.

Mojo Monday: Celebrate Your Day
To reveal just the parts of the background paper that I liked best, I mirrored the Mojo Monday sketch, moving the elements to the right side. Glad to have a birthday card to replenish my stash.
