Anchor for the Soul for Word Art Wednesday

This Memory Dex card began as a mixed media project with lots of water splashes.  I didn't like it and took another direction.  In the finished product is a smudge from a stray water droplet.  Decided to keep it as it fits the verse well:  we need an anchor when life is roough!

Psalm 33:21 for Word Art Wednesday

Some  pretty Mintay paper seemed just right for this joyful scripture.  I was sure to include the tiny singing bird in the heart die cut by Papertrey Ink.

Sketch Challenge : I Vike You

This little Viking was recently released from the vault and then was included in a sale.  So glad I ordered it; I am trying to be more deliberate about including masculine stamps in my stash.  Colored these a while back when my craft room was awaiting new furniture and I had everything strewn about the house.  Finally had a chance to place this little herd of Vikings on cards.

Sunny Snippets Mittens

My stash has been begging for a large mitten die, and I love this one from Sunny Studios.  Just added four more Christmas cards to my stash.  Yippee!

Butterflies, Birds, and Blooms

There's a relatively new challenge blog in town:  Triple B for Birds, Blooms, and Butterflies.  It's hosted by the very talented Double D:  Darlene and Diane.

This month's mood board is gorgeous, and I was inspired by the yellow tones.  Birds, blooms, and butterflies are in the majority in my stash; I'd have added a butterfly had it not felt crowded.

Both the sentiment and the birds are retired Papertrey Ink products (Brushed Birds and Year of Psalms), but the Cherry Blossom dies are currently available.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to share as a guest designer this month, ladies.

Blessings,

Christine
