Thinking of You with Into the Blooms II

This card features Papertrey Ink's Into the Blooms II dies.  I love to ink them with a blending brush and arrange them over a softly  inked background.

Thanks with MFT Lilies

MFT bought these pretty lily Dienamaics out of the vault a year or so ago.  I am so glad to have ordered a set!  They are fun to work with, and I always make two sets at a time in order to have one on hand for  quick card such as this one.

Dahlias in a Mug

A friend requested some cards.  I am creating them first and adding sentiments later according to her directions.  All the papers, inks, and dies are from Papertrey Ink:  Dahlias in Lilac Grace, Plum Pudding, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, and Harvest Gold.  The papers are Bitty Big in Harvest Gold and Sweet Blush.  The mug die and scalloped die are also from my PTI stash and are big favorites of mine!

Welcome Baby

Some time back, custom baby cards were requested. We knew one  that one baby is a boy, but it was too early to tell for the other one.  Since it was a busy time, I sent two boy cards and one girl card; it was easier to make an extra then as opposed to waiting to make the correct one later.   This is the one for a little girl.  It won't be used for a while, since both babies are boys.  I hadn't shared the card .... but SSS is having a "For a Child" themed challenge.

Happy Fourth Birthday

Sharing a card for a nephew's fourth birthday.  The paper is from a Disney stack and has a fun celebratory vibe.  The cupcake dies are from MFT.

Psalm 20:6 for Word Art Wednesday

What a comforting scripture!  It is perfect for a card front or just to print and adhere to the mirror to see often.  It's available at Word Art Wednesday to use any way you please, and we hope you would create a project to share.  There is a devotional based on the verse, there is inspiration to be shared, and there are always great prizes!  Hope you will join the fun!

Praise the Lord

Melissa's Fab Friday Challenge is to recreate her fabulous sun-shiny card.  I debated whether I should attempt the recreation of her darling card, and I am really glad I gave it a try.  My first thought was to use Bitty Big papers for the sunburst....every ray is from a narrow scrap of Harvest Gold, and I am so glad I was able to include a mix of the patterns!  The flowers are from Birthday Bouquet.  I turned the huge foliage stamp this way and that to use as leafy stems and repeated the tiny florals in a rainbow of PTI inks.  The panel is topped with the Skinny Hearts frame die.

Love One Another

Still working on a huge collection of cards to send to volunteers in our summer community ministry.  Since our activities are all about love, this scripture (retired) from Verve is just perfect  I haven't shared many because I am making multiples with similar elements.

Tip:  I have LOTS of partially used 6x6 paper stacks.  After a good bit of use, sometimes it is hard to coordinate multiple layers.  Sometimes the front and back of a 6 x 6 sheet coordinate nicely.  In this case, I cut the sheet down to 4 x 5.25 and used the left-over two-inch width for the vertical panel.  The small flowers were cut from purple scraps in the same stack.

Maybe I will work through some of these partial sets eventually.

Thanks for looking,

Christine
