Fall Findings: With a grateful heart

Sharing gratitude in this post:  Hurricane Nichols came our way leaving clean up and a few repairs in its wake, but we are thankful to have had all we need, to be safe, and to have almost all the repairs made.

I am also thankful that sweet friend who had a break-through Covid infection seems to be turning the corner and getting better.  She's had a rough time, and I am so thankful for the medical staff who has cared for her with love and patience.  She still has a way to go, but the God who's been good enough to bring her this far will see her through.

I'm sending this card to her in hopes that her family will be able to share my message.

I am also very thankful to have a couple family members come to visit this week!

Thanks for visiting,

Christine

Hello Pumpkin!

The most wonderful paper craft store has opened close to my most wonderful Mom, and she sent a package of fall papers and this adorable set called Pumpkin Face-off by Paper Smooches.  It was a great surprise and a special treat to receive some PS stamps since the company has closed.

The finished card measures 3.5 x 6 inches, making it a small slim line card.  The background panel is from a collection by Polkadoodles, and the pumpkin (with a customizable face) is stamped on  gingham by Doodlebug Designs.  The button and banner dies are from MFT.

I am thankful for this sweet surprise and for a fun hour spent crafting.

Thanks for stopping by,

Christine

Happy Birthday Wreath

The "What do I do with this?"  challenge is to use rain stones as an accents.  The wreath from PTI's Wreath Favor Box set is adorned with a few flowers from Birthday Bouquet.  The centers of the flowers are rain stones that were colored with alcohol markers.

Thanks so much for visiting,

Christine

Wishing you much Happiness

The September first Great Cover Up challenge is to use vellum as an accent.  For this card, I stamped the beautiful layered flowers from the Favor Box Wreath set on an A2 panel, impressed it with the Tin Stitched die, and centered a vellum panel over this to soften the background.  A pretty circle is topped with a scattering of blooms and a beautifully lettered sentiment from my Verve collection.

Hippo Bird-Day

I was blessed with a generous MFT gift card during the recent re-release of some Birdie
Brown sets.  I just love Happy Hippos and was thrilled to receive it.

I will be sharing this in the current MFT Sketch Challenge and in the following challenges:
