To fix our hearts upon God is to find ourselves held in His perfect peace. This doesn't change circumstances, but I find that when I bring my troubles to God and take the time to meditate on His goodness, He communicates that He can work any and all of my troubles out for good and in the meantime, He is able to provide grace, strength and hope to endure.
